his friends today. The Date Palm grows in the desert
where water is present, playing an essential role in the
survival of desert travelers by helping them to locate
water. This useful tree also produces fruit, the leaves
were used for brooms and roofs and the crown of the
plant makes a durable rope. The Date Palm can grow
up to 80 feet tall and is a “Feather Palm” with noticeably
narrow leaflets.
