    Sprout and grow your own Palm Tree! The Date Palm grows in the desert where water is present, often at an oasis. This most useful tree also produces edible fruit! The leaves were used for brooms and roofs, and the crown of the plant makes a durable rope. This tree is also known for its medicinal uses and possesses cleansing powers. The Date Palm can grow up to 80 feet tall and is a “Feather Palm” with noticeably narrow leaflets.
