Space Sand is the sand that never gets wet! Create underwater sculptures and formations and watch in wonderment as the sand is completely dry when removed from the water. Space Sand, used in NASA Explorations classroom experiments, is the closest thing to sand from Mars. The Jumbo Test Tube contains three colors of Space Sand (red, white, and black), and lots of fun experiment and project ideas.

    Testimonials

"The following story is true. Last week we were just about to leave for a morning at Disneyland when a large brown box appeared at the front door. My 5 year old, who loves science, wanted to see what was inside, so we quickly opened it to take a peek. It was a box full of DuneCraft treasures. As soon as he saw the Space Sand, he said, "Mom let's stay home and try this out." We still went to Disneyland, but it was the first thing out of his mouth when we got home!" "Space Sand keeps kids busy having tons of fun pretending that they are on Mars and discovering a magical dust. They are amazed with the product staying dry thus creating a mystical unexplainable situation only found in space! Wait until you hear some of the 'stories' that they come up with!" Jodie Lynn, Adding Wisdom Award

"After being submerged in water, the coating on this bright red sand keeps it completely dry to the touch. Underwater, it can be formed into columns and imaginitive shapes while outside of the water, it behaves as normal dry sand. Similar in color and texture to the soil on Mars, this sand encourages kids to make predictions and experiment with how it will behave in a variety of liquids." Review on ToyTips.com
