DuneCraft Leading the Charge of Growing Popularity of Nature Kits

CHAGRIN FALLS, OH - "We wanted you to know that Odd Pods are in our top ten best selling list right now!" exclaims Sandy Callahan, President of the Grand River Toy Company.

In June 2004, the magazine Edplay, wrote an article about nature and garden themed kits being a hit. Bob Moskal, founder of State Mania wrote, "When the article mentioned the nature and garden themed kits were a hit, I immediately thought of the 2004 Toy Fair in New York where I was lucky enough to come across (among other things!) a Sensory Dome! My kids assembled the kit and I realized that the Sensory Dome is, hands-down, the most attention grabbing kit I have laid eyes on!"

Since DuneCraft's first hit, the Odd Pods, a complete kit to grow over 25 different kinds of cacti in a unique windowsill planter, DuneCraft has added seven new products, with more to come in the next year! In 2003, both the Odd Pods and the Dinosaur Plant won prestigious awards from Creative Child Magazine.

DuneCraft’s exciting and original products are available on many websites and catalogs including:,, Casual Living, HearthSong, Bits & Pieces, and Things You Never Knew Existed, as well as in museum shops, garden centers, educational and toy stores, and many other specialty locations, including Universal Studios theme parks.

The current product line includes Odd Pods (in electric blue or glow), the Dinosaur Plant and Dinosaur Trio, the Sensory Dome, the Medieval Herber, Space Sand, and a line of Exotic Seeds.

All of Dunecraft’s products are assembled and manufactured in the United States by DuneCraft, Inc., and are guaranteed to grow. For more information, see
